This part of our website is a chronicle of setting up and running our new alpaca farm in Sooke, BC. We started with a house on 4 acres of forested land and needed to end up with a property suitable for raising alpacas and assorted other critters.

An alpaca was killed by neighborhood dogs recently, just kilometers north of us. Here is a link to the story.

Our Ear Flap Toques are inspired by the traditional hats worn in the Peruvian Andes, the ancestral home of the Alpaca.

As the weather is getting cooler, our thought go to the wonderful warmth of alpaca fibre. Last seasons shearing has returned from the fibre mill as luxurious scarves, hats, head bands & socks.
